Evening Open House: A Walk Through the Grades
By far our most popular admissions event! Our alumni will wow you as their share their Waldorf Education experience while you walk through our beautiful, grade 1-8 classrooms. Our lead teacher will talk about our rich curriculum and answer questions. The incredible work of our talented students will be on display.
Windows into Waldorf
Windows into Waldorf is a special visit to the grade-school classrooms while the classes are in progress. You’ll observe the Class Teacher presenting a main lesson, watch the students, see their work and get a feel for the rhythm and atmosphere of their day. A brief visit will allow you to better understand how a child grows through the grades. You’ll have an opportunity to discuss your observations and ask questions following the classroom visit. This is for parents only.
Middle School Morning
Most parents who send their children to our school wish they could have come here as a child. Now your dream can come true. Become a middle schooler for a morning and join us for a lesson in Platonic solids. You will quickly understand the beauty and complexity of our curriculum and will have no doubt about your child’s preparedness for high school.

We want your child to be prepared for what comes their way. We teach them how to think – not what to think. Our model is not just a means to an end; it is an unfolding in which learning how to arrive at a possible answer is as important as the answer itself. Our students can turn learning into know-how and apply their skills across disciplines. Take an after-hours tour of our classrooms and see why Waldorf works. Tours are available to one family at a time only. Have the benefit of the Enrollment Director’s undivided attention with the opportunity to ask questions specific to your child. All COVID-19 safety measures will be in place.
First Grade Readiness Evening
We take the time to provide a sound beginning; a solid foundation upon which to grow. Intellectual readiness is only one indicator of readiness. At this young age we hold physical, emotional, and social readiness as even more important indicators. Once those capacities are firmly in place, the sky is the limit for academic learning. Meet our teachers, who are trained in childhood development, during this wonderful evening. Read more about first grade readiness on our Admissions FAQ page.
Puppet-Show/Early Childhood Tour
A peaceful and enchanted mood prevails. The puppet show in the Waldorf tradition features hand-sewn puppets, sumptuous plant-dyed silks, and a simple, age-appropriate performance style suited to young children’s attention spans and level of awareness. Our puppet shows are appropriate for 3-8 year-olds. After the puppet show, sign-up for a tour of our Early Childhood classrooms.
Kindermorning
Experience the rhythm of the morning as you explore the Early Childhood world with all your senses. You and your 3- to 5-year-old child can enjoy a sample Waldorf Early Childhood class: joyful play, beautiful watercolor painting, seasonal songs, creative movement, and a nutritious snack.
