Our Artists are more capable of challenging themselves physically and socially. Our goal is to provide opportunities that meet our older campers developmentally in a safe, natural environment.
Week 1: June 25-29 *(this week only, ages 9-14 or entering third grade); Circus Arts with Laura Geilen
This week is devoted to developing skills that will culminate in a circus performance extraordinaire at the end of the week. You will practice skills such as unicycle riding, stilt walking, advanced tumbling, and juggling with everything except fire! It is sure to be a week of testing and challenging physical limits while “clowning” around with new friends.

Summer is the perfect time to assist Mother Nature with the bounties she provides for us! Enjoy planting, seeding, and cultivating the summer gardens while relaxing in the warm summer sun with friends. You will enjoy water play and investigating the plants that grow in our area and learning how they can benefit us.
Week 3: July 9-13; Teensy Tiny Worlds with Emily Remensperger
Explore with an artistic eye and artistic methods and mediums, all the fun that a miniature world can share with us. Hone various artistic skills while creating homes, playthings, and practical things for your vision of “Teensy, Tiny.”
Week 4: July 16-20; Tropical Rainforests with Emily Remensperger
The rainforest provides a boundless vibrancy of sights and sounds for our senses. Using various artistic methods, you will explore and create drawing inspiration from the beauty, mystery, and majesty of this verdant, tropical landscape.
Week 5: July 23-27; Folklore, Fables, and Fantasy with Emily Remensperger
Art can be expressed through many means that develop and spark creativity. This week you will delve into a fantastic world conjuring up images of long ago lands, ancient times, and magical, mystical offerings that you will incorporate into your artistic endeavors.
Week 6: July 30- August 3; Archery
Explore and develop the fundamentals of archery including safety and proper target techniques. Investigate how Native Americans used these skills for survival and sport.
Week 7: August 6-10; Fiesta and Fun in the Sun with Laura Hayes
During our last week of camp you will enjoy music and influences from our South American neighbors who know the true meaning of “fun in the sun!” We will be treated to a performance by a percussion group from Ecuador (Andes Manta) that will entertain us with the music of the mountains. We will enjoy foods together that will highlight our neighbors and nourish us all!
