One of the many benefits of HVWS is a warm, active community life that touches the hearts, heads, and hands of not just the children, but also their families, friends, and entire community. While our families live in many different towns (and states), our community has frequent opportunities to come together through festivals, fairs, field trips, and parent enrichment evenings, to name a few.
HVWS is made up of families who bring a range of backgrounds, talents, inspiration, and goodwill to our campus. We hear frequently from parents, “I wish I'd had a Waldorf education!” Together with dedication to their children’s well-being, it is this sentiment that sustains members of the community, who cherish the opportunity to be part of an enriching daily life.
We rely heavily on parent volunteers
to organize many aspects of our community life and school fundraising efforts. Please look out for ways to get involved!
